When creating artwork you may need to have a photo digitized or traced. We offer a design service to digitize or vectorize photos. The difference between a regular raster photograph and a vector line art drawing is that one uses dots and the other uses outlines with a color fill. The two types of prints are called raster and vector. The digitizing process creates vector artwork from a raster imageso you have an outline with a color fill. This is like cutting the pieces of the glass to fit in lead frame. When all the pieces are put together it looks like a photo. The benefit of using vector artwork is that it can be enlarged up to any size without loss of resolution. Vectors use bezlier curves that are created from mathmatical formulas in order to create the artwork. Creating these drawings takes more time but offers easier duplication and enlargements. Colors can easily be changed for each piece.
